Workshops of

Leadership and Social Service

Beginning in sixth grade, as part of the regular camp program, these workshops are taught in an interactive way in our spacious gardens. The objective is to complement the emotional formation of the child, that is, self-confident children and young people, capable of making decisions, expressing their feelings and providing human warmth. We summarize it in: Training leaders for the First World.

We carry out social service activities in communities near our destinations, making students aware of the different conditions of growth and development in which the children of these populations live.

For the correct realization of these workshops, Campamento Sol y Luna has a consultant from Harvard Universityin the United States. These workshops are given according to the age of the children and by trained people.

The course consists of five modules, which are taught as follows:

  • The first module covers the primary level, as an introduction.
  • Secondary takes both the first module plus two others, with a higher degree of difficulty.
  • The preparatory level completes all five modules, the last two being the most difficult.

Rescue

Tecniques

Unfortunately in our country there is still no first aid culture; the objective of this workshop is that young people know how to react and what to do in case of an accident or emergency, while professional help arrives. Therefore, basic first aid or pre-hospital care techniques are taught, with all the necessary equipment, by professionals in the field, who are certified in both Mexico and the United States.

Our motto is form by Friendship that is shown with Respect to our campers. Our relation to them is based with Naturalness. We work with them with Happiness but always with Responsibility.

Only the best can give the best service!

School

Camp

Our weekend camps are an excellent option for schools and groups, although most of them are held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; if the school or group wishes, the camp can be held during the week and with the number of days that best suits their needs. We pick up children and youths and drop them off where they tell us to pick them up. In addition, there are camps for 6th grade, 3rd grade, parents and children, or adults only, among other options.

All you have to do is contact us and we will go to your school or with the interested parties and show you a promotional video where you can learn about our facilities, activities, staff, in short, everything you want to know about us. Do not hesitate to call us: you will surely be satisfied with our work and professionalism.

You are not responsible for anything, Campamento Sol y Luna does it for you:

  • Send informative circulars (previously authorized by you).
  • Payments are made to a bank account or directly to the school.
  • If you need to convene a parent-teacher meeting, a member of the staff will be there to assist you with any questions that the interested parties, who are usually fathers, may have.

The camp is reserved with 10% of the amount and the rest is paid two weeks prior to the camp.
